Many anglers automatically think of the salt Father and Son Fraser River Chinookwater of the Pacific Ocean when they think of the Salmon fishing in British Columbia Canada. But here in the Fraser valley there is a thriving world-class river fishery for anglers looking for an exciting Salmon fishing adventure. All five species including Chinook, Coho (Silvers), Sockeye (Reds), Chum and Pink (Humpies) abound in the Rivers and streams on which we guide our clients from all over the world. The Fraser River, Harrison River and Chilliwack River systems have some of the largest runs of pacific Salmon in North Amercia. The Fraser River returns are in excess of 10 million fish every year and can be as high as 40 million plus! Now that is what I call great odds! Float fishing, bottom bouncing, bar fishing, spin fishing and of course fly fishing are all very effective. Our guided Salmon fishing season starts in June and runs well in to November depending on the species. Probably the best part about the fishing in British Columbia is that the different runs do overlap throughout the season so in many cases a variety of different species can be caught during your fishing adventure.
